American roulette features a roulette wheel with 38 pockets alternating in colour between black and red and numbered 0 through 36, plus a 00 slot (which is absent from the European roulette wheel).

The objective is to predict where the ball will land with each spin in order to win.

You can place either an inside bet or an outside bet of any amount within the table’s minimum and maximum wager requirements.

 

Inside Bets:

1. Corner Bet:  A bet on four neighbouring numbers.

2. Five Bet:  A bet on the numbers 00, 0, 1, 2 and 3 (inclusive).

3. Line Bet:  A bet on two consecutive rows (totalling six numbers).

4. Special Street Bet:  A bet on three numbers, either 0, 1, 2; 00, 2, 3; or 0, 00, 2.

5. Split Bet:  A bet on any two neighbouring numbers.

6. Straight Up Bet:  A bet on a single number.

7. Street Bet:  A bet on three neighbouring numbers.

 

1. Column Bet:  A bet on one of three columns of numbers on the wheel.

2. Dozen Bet:  A bet on any dozen numbers as marked on the table as ‘1^st 12’ (1-12), ‘2^nd 12’ (13-24) and ‘3^rd 12’ (25-36).

3. Even/Odd Bet:  A bet on either an even number or an odd number.

4. Low/High Bet:  A bet on either a high number (19-36) or a low number (1-18).

5. Red/ Black Bet:  A bet on either a red slot or a black slot.
