The rules
Evolution’s Lightning Baccarat works the same as the regular version and all you have to do is decide who you think will win: you or the bank, while a third option is to bet on a tie. Each card from 2-9 is worth its own number of points. For an Ace you get 1 point and the 10, J, Q and K are all worth 0 points. The goal is to score as many points as possible, with 9 being the highest. In the event one of the two-card sides has a lower number of points, a third card can be drawn to increase the total number of options. The first to receive such a third card is the Player. If the Player gets more points with that third card, the Banker also gets a third card.
Lightning bolts mean multipliers
If you have correctly predicted the winning side, you will receive $1 for every $1 wagered on Player, $0,95 for every Dollar wagered on the Banker and $5 for a tie. Lightning Baccarat differs from regular baccarat as a number of cards are struck by lightning before each round finishes. This gives these cards a multiplier of 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or 8x. So with a 3x multiplier and the same $1 bet, the Player will add up to $3, the Banker gives you $2,85 and a tie stands at $15. It’s also possible to combine multipliers. If two cards are both struck by lightning and have a multiplier of 3x and 4x, then all your winnings are multiplied by 12x.

When multipliers multiply
Each hand now has a certain value. If the value is more than 10, only the second number is used. For example, if you get 9 and 7, you would initially have 16 points, but according to this rule the value of your hand actually turns out to be 6. If the player or bank gets a hand with a value of 8 or 9 which leads to a natural, the game stops and no more cards are dealt. If this isn’t the case, the third card rule will decide whether a third card is needed for the player and bank.
