5) Regardless if the account holder has read the rules or not, the placement of a wager signifies acceptance of all rules that relate to that wager.

6) i) Betting prices are subject to change and are available up to and including the official start time of the event in question.

ii) If situations where the official start time is not announced, bets are accepted up to the advertised start time.

iii) With the exception of in-play markets, bets that are inadvertently accepted after the official or advertised start time will be made void.

7) If Internet Gambling is illegal in area you reside, you are not authorized to place a bet with Vernons. You are responsible to check and comply with all relevant laws of your own jurisdiction prior to placing a bet with Vernons. 8) i) Vernons cannot be held responsible for failure of any equipment that prevents the placement of any bet or coinntact with any of our offices.

ii) Any bet that is requested via our site is confirmed by the ‘bet accepted' message being returned, and the subsequent bet is then displayed immediately in your ‘My Account' section of the Vernons website.

iii) Vernons accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any bets that are submitted but not confirmed by our software in the above, or any other manner.

9) Should errors occur on your account, either from a bet or any other form of transaction, it is your responsibility to inform us immediately of such an error. Any funds or winnings that are credited to account due to such an error are not available for use and Vernons reserves the right to void any transactions that involve such funds.

10) Only bets made with available funds in a player's account will be accepted.

ii) Where there is evidence of price or match rigging, we reserve the right to make bets void or withhold payment pending the outcome of any investigation.

iii) No claims or disputes will be considered more than 90 days after the settlement date of the original transaction.

13) Vernons will always endeavor to ensure complete accuracy in relation to the announcing, publishing and issuing of prices or any betting information. Should an error occur Vernons cannot accept any responsibility and reserve the right to correct said errors. If a bet is accepted in error and it is a pre-event bet it will either stand at the correct price, terms or market conditions or be cancelled with the funds returned to a players account. If a bet in accepted in error and it is placed on an in running event, all such bets will be made void.

14) For the purposes of settlement, of any multiple bet, the individual bets are calculated as distinct bets.

15) Dead heats in sporting events are settled by dividing the stake of the bet by the total number of selections involved in the dead heat. The reduced stake will then be used to calculate the players bet at the full odds. The remainder of the stake will be lost.

16) If the same selection is backed to win two or more events in an accumulative bet, irrespective of any individual odds quoted a special combined price will apply. If no special combined price is available than settlement will be based on the first available offs after each leg has been completed.

17) Enhanced multiples will frequently be offered, where the combined odds will be increased from what they would normally return and be presented as one price.

i) If any of the selections involved in an enhanced multiple is either void or a push, the bet will stand on the remaining selections and bets will be settled at the respective prices that were available at the time of the bet placement.

ii) Vernons does not accept multiple bets if the outcome of one part of a bet can contribute to the outcome of the other, unless special odds are quoted. If such a bet is taken in error, the stake will be divided equally between the separate single related bets.

iii) If when placing a bet on Vernons, your bet slip contains related selections or markets, only the unrelated multiples will be placed. This will reflect in the total stake of your bets. Only no valid, unrelated bets are returns allowed to be claimed. If you hold any doubt as to the selections you have selected being related or not, please contact the Vernons customer service team for a full explanation. Any bets placed in error will not have the stakes refunded.

18) Any bets accepted will be settled on the official result, unless stated otherwise.

19) Special related prices may be available on certain markets. These will be displayed on our website. Any such special bet will be settled in accordance with the unique rules that are set for the bet in question.

20) If any errors are brought to our attention more than 6 months after the official result of the last selection that ran on a bet, we cannot guarantee to pay or correct any such errors.

21) Vernons will only accept bets that are made through the Vernons website. Any bets that are requested by phone, email, post or any other method will not be accepted.

22) Vernons reserve the right to withhold payment, pending the outcome of any subsequent investigation and to declare bets on an event to be void after such an investigation, if any evidence of price, race or match fixing is found.

23) Vernons reserve the right for any payment claims to be submitted in writing to our customer service department if evidence of rigging exists or if there is evidence of a series of bets each containing the same selection(s) have been placed by or for the same individual or a syndicate of individuals.

24) Vernons reserves all rights to void any transaction(s) if an individual or individuals are suspected of acting either in conspiracy or concert: An example would be organisations, clubs or employees/agents or other betting companies.

25) In relation to an official enquiry that takes place regarding suspicious betting activity on an account, Vernons reserve the right to disclose any relevant confidential information to a sport's governing body or their representatives, on the condition they consent to keeping such information confidential.

26) For any markets that are odd/even, zero will always be considered an even number.

27) Payout Limits

The maximum that will be paid out on any one bet daily is £50,000. This excludes the original stake. This limit applies to any one customer, or a group of customers who act together by backing the same combination of selections. This will also apply even if bets have been placed over a number of days at a range of prices using different betting accounts and a series of bets. If Vernons suspect a number of bets have been placed this way, the total combined profit of said bets will be limited to one single maximum payout. Vernons are not liable in any way to any perceived loss of profits.
